Mafia Wars is an online game featured on several sites, including the two most popular social networking sites Facebook and MySpace, you can also play Mafia Wars on Tagged. It is a highly addictive game where you recruit your friends into your Mafia families and try to complete jobs and fight other Mafia families to gain experience, energy, “loot”, weapons, vehicles, and money.

Mafia Wars Bodyguards are loot items you need to finish specific job tiers to move onto the next level. That is the main reason that you NEED them, but you can also use them to beef up your defense when you enter fights with other mafia families.

You can obtain body guards in 3 different ways; you can receive them as gifts from other plays, you can also pick them up as dropped loot items during fights, or you can receive them by completing the job “Protect Your City Against A Rival Family” which is on the Hitman tier (level 18-24).

***BONUS TIP*** Godfather Points Spending —> Do not waste your Godfather points on mafia members, money, energy recharge, or items. Only use them on 4 skill/upgrade points. It takes 14 Godfather points to get 4 skill/upgrade points, but it is well worth it because it will help you go to the next level much faster and then once you finish your jobs you can upgrade your defense stats, to power up and beef up your defense.

***BONUS TIP #2***Health Management —> Before logging out you should always take your health below 20, that way no one can hit list you and you will not show up on the fight list. Also, if you do get attacked it will not kill you.
